Phases of the DevOps Journey
Assessment
The practice starts with a thorough assessment of the customer’s existing infrastructure, applications, and workloads. We analyze the current environment to identify dependencies, performance requirements, security considerations, and any potential challenges that may arise during migration.
Planning and Design
Based on the assessment, we collaborate with you to develop a migration plan and architecture. This involves selecting the appropriate AWS services, defining the migration approach (e.g., rehost, replatform, refactor), establishing the target architecture, and creating a detailed migration roadmap.
Migration Readiness
We help our customers prepare their applications and infrastructure for migration. This may involve optimizing applications for cloud scalability, resolving any compatibility issues, and establishing governance and security measures.
Data Migration
We assist in migrating your data from the source environment to AWS. This includes selecting the appropriate data transfer methods, ensuring data integrity and security, and validating the completeness and accuracy of the migrated data.
Application Migration

AWS Migration Acceleration Program
The AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) part of the AWS Migration Practice, is a comprehensive framework and set of guidelines provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help its partners assist customers in migrating their applications and workloads to the AWS cloud infrastructure. The practice encompasses various methodologies, tools, and resources that partners can leverage to deliver successful migration projects for their customers.
MAP provides a high-level framework to guide organizations through the process of migrating their applications and workloads to the AWS cloud. It consists of three main phases: Assess, Mobilize, and Modernize.
The Assess phase involves evaluating the current state of the organization’s applications, infrastructure, and data to determine the feasibility and readiness for migration.
The Mobilize phase focuses on planning and preparing for the migration. It involves developing a comprehensive migration strategy, establishing a migration plan, and initiating the necessary preparations.
The Modernize phase focuses on optimizing and modernizing the applications and workloads to take advantage of AWS services and capabilities. This phase involves migrating, refactoring, or rearchitecting applications to achieve better performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
