We're looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead and deliver cloud projects for our enterprise customers. You'll design and build secure, scalable platforms across multiple cloud providers, with a strong focus on AWS and Azure and act as a trusted technical advisor to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud platform projects for customers, from design through implementation and handover.
- Lead customer workshops and discovery sessions to understand business goals, assess current environments, and define solution architectures.
- Design and implement landing zones on AWS (Control Tower, Organizations) and Azure (Enterprise-Scale / CAF).
- Build and manage cloud networking, including Transit Gateways, VPNs, Direct Connect / ExpressRoute, hub-and-spoke architectures, and hybrid connectivity.
- Lead large-scale enterprise migration projects, including assessment, planning, and execution.
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes platforms across multiple flavours: EKS, AKS, ROSA, ARO, and Rancher.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
- Implement GitLab Reference Architectures for enterprises, such as 3K-user and Cloud Native Hybrid (CNH) deployments.
- Design and implement hybrid and disaster recovery solutions to meet customer RTO/RPO requirements.
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep/ARM).
- Engage directly with customers to gather requirements, present solutions and provide regular technical updates.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, with strong expertise in both AWS and Azure.
- Proven experience implementing landing zones and enterprise cloud networking.
- Exceptional Kubernetes expertise across managed and self-managed platforms (EKS, AKS, ROSA, ARO, Rancher).
- Track record of leading large-scale enterprise migrations.
- Solid experience with hybrid cloud architectures and disaster recovery design.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Experience leading customer workshops, discovery sessions, and technical presentations.
- Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
